Sanofi – Aventis Pharma companies enter the China non-prescription drug market
October 24, Europe’s largest pharmaceutical company Sanofi – Aventis and Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. signed a letter of intent, the two sides will jointly set up a new consumer medical products joint venture.
According to Sanofi – Aventis China headquarters in Shanghai said the new joint venture will focus on production and operation of vitamins and minerals products.
Minsheng Pharmaceutical’s “21 Jin he was” for many years among the Chinese vitamin market, sales of single items first, by virtue of this flagship brand, the people’s livelihood in the non-prescription drug market has considerable strength. Sanofi – Aventis, said the new joint venture will be the company to enter China’s non-prescription drug market, a strategic platform.
Sanofi – Aventis is a world leading multinational pharmaceutical companies, the Group’s headquarters in Paris. China Minsheng Pharmaceutical is one of the earliest established in Western pharmaceutical companies, with 80 years of specialty pharmaceutical history.
