Eat meat can lead to body weight rapidly increase

British researchers found that eating less meat could be the key to maintaining healthy weight. About 400 thousand adults on a study conducted found that people who eat meat even if intaked calorie the same as the other person, they increase body weight more easily.

Imperial College London research group said in the report, sausage, ham and other processed meat, most likely to lead to weight gain. In the long term, high-protein diet on weight loss did not help. The study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition magazine, the researchers said the finding also support the promotion of proposals to reduce intake the amount of meat.

Participants from 10 countries in Europe, including Britain. In the beginning of the study phase, researchers weigh their weight, and check their physical condition, 5 years later again asked for their weight. In addition, the participants filled out a diet questionnaire.

The researchers found that weight gain is related with women and men eat meat. The research group concluded that the same calorie intake of people, five years after the increase in body weight over 2 kg. The research results strongly refute the following theory: a lot of protein and little carbohydrate diet helps weight loss.
